Oh no worries, I was chuckling at my dumbness myself. I was switching the drill to the other hand, and didn't take into consideration the additional length of the drill bit

I did the very same thing with a box cutter at work the other day. I did not realize I had sliced my hand open until I went to use hand sanitizer.
