We do now. We had a derecho storm this past may that was the costliest and deadliest in our recorded history. And hurricane Fiona that hit the maritimes in Sept was the most intense tropical storm to ever hit Canada. And wildfires everywhere (not near me thank goodness) are getting worse every year.

I heard about Fiona but didn't hear about anything else. Interesting

I used to get paid once a month. I liked it. I could schedule all my bill payments at once and be done for the month

There is that, but it takes away the excitement of paydays. And the bank always puts a really long hold on my deposits because my salary checks are above their mandatory hold amount. Gotta wait 10 business days. Boo.
