Not too bad. The trees are used to the wind around here, so at most there were some leaves. The main thing was the pool and a few shingles off the roof.I bet the whole area was a mess. No bueno.
You should throw her in the 40 degree water. We all are. We were cleaning up most of the day, at least some of us were. Stick seemed to think she got a pass.![]()
While the rest of us were freezing up on the roof, she was cozy in her room. You should throw her in the 40 degree water.
Thank goodness! 60mph is crazy. I don't get hardly any wind here. I live on the side of a hill in a little valley. That kind of wind would wreak havoc here. Not too bad. We live in a nice little wind tunnel. 60 mph gusts are fairly common, thankfully we don't have many trees to blow over. Last night was the most wind we've gotten in the five years we've lived here. I came out into the living room at midnight, and just touched the windows to see how much they were bending. It was a lot. Enough that it sent me back to my bed to cuddle under the covers with kitty.Thank goodness! 60mph is crazy. I don't get hardly any wind here. I live on the side of a hill in a little valley. I empathize completely. We had a freak storm in Dec 2020 (we locals call it Snowmageddon and Treepocalypse). We sat in the dark all night listening to the trees snap and splinter and felt the ground shake when they came crashing down. Nothing you can do but listen and hope nothing comes through your roof or your neighbors'. Or your animals'. Terrifying.
Well, at least go throw a glass of cold water on her. While the rest of us were freezing up on the roof, she was cozy in her room.
Probably not the smartest thing to go stand in front of glass during a wind storm like that.We live in a nice little wind tunnel. 60 mph gusts are fairly common, thankfully we don't have many trees to blow over.
