Same place I saw crowned pigeons. He was somebody in the national Audubon society

About 40-50 feet, it was a proposed train tunnel to a failed railroad.

First pictures are from the Railroad Tunnel, off the Col. Devin Trail, you start at Washington Park Trail head. Pretty hike, last fourth mile to the tunnel is a climb.
Second set is the Oak Springs Trail, off Hardscrabble in Pine. We lost most of the leaves from the snow last week so I think you have a few days before they all fall. I can pm you some trail links if you want. :]

Kind of late in the year to be raising young ones. I like your style.

Speaking of which, I need a new machete and a pick ax. I took a giant chip out of my machete last year clearing brush and my cousin told me that using a pick ax on the root of saplings would be more effective at preventing regrowth.

I just got a new machete! Love machetes! Whacking blackberries and Scottish Broom with that is a great stress reliever!
