I grew up with flight line access to a Marine base when I was a kid (pre 9/11). I was out there watching ops as often as I could con my folks into taking me out. Planes and flying are in my blood. I still have warbird posters on the wall in my garage. This one hits close to home with me. I haven't seen her in years, but I'm still upset about her loss, and the loss of both crews.
I grew up living very close to Cleveland Hopkins airport. So close, my house was one of the ones "sold" to the airport so it could expand. Never did expand. Anyways, we used to go to the airport and watch the airplanes taking off and landing. I know they are commercial so different than military, but it is still a fun memoryhttps://duckduckgo.com/?q=don%27t+mess+with+texas+b-17+commercial&t=chromentp&iax=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DXlFD0Zyl_f0&ia=videos

My sister's first car. It was laid up in some people's yard with grass growed up all around. She bought it for 40.00. My dad put shocks on it and drove the living **** out of it. Multiple, Multiple trips 4 hours away to see her boyfriend. Probably about 80mpg top speed 60 at about 9k rpms
My best friend's first car was a friggin Yugo. We drove that thing everywhere!

One time, she parallel parked it really badly - like 3ft from the curb. A bunch of us picked it up and moved it. It was like that Mentos commercial.
