Not a bad thing. I like to be fawncy to the extent my budget allows. I can be as snooty as the next person, lol. When I fell on hard times I would go without certain essentials in order to have International Delight creamer for my coffee, lol.

probably just sanitary, or really just practical if you bowl a lot. bowling isn’t an activity that gets the bougie tag

Just plain smart. Putting your feet in shoes that hundreds of other people put their feet in, is just gross. I don't even try shoes on at the store, I just assume they fit and return them if they don't.

So you don't put your feet in them at the store but you take them home and put your feet in them? I've started buying mine on line. I don't think anyone has had their feet in them? But I guess they could have... Hmm. I don't do it for sanitation purposes though but bc the stores usually don't have my size.

i buy most of my shoes online. i know my sizes in the brands i buy most often, so no worries there.

that being said, i don’t worry about other people’s feet when i try in the store. a few people wearing the shoes i’m trying on for a few minutes at a time really isn’t a concern. they’re not running a marathon in them and giving them back.
