dude, you're in incubating and hatching

That's how I know the chicken came first, that's where I got the eggs.

Chickens are descended from dinosaurs. Dinosaurs hatched from eggs. Not hard to figure out.

i have always believed that the chicken came first.. as many have said how did the egg get here? wouldnt a hen have to lay it? (maybe it was a double yolker and hatched 1 boy and 1 girl?

You never hear anyone say, what came first? the dinosaur or the egg? or what came first? the lizard or the egg? lol.

Chicken came first.

And... no God did not make any mistakes, what He did do was give all of us our agency to chose either good or bad. He also had us forget our pre-existant life where all of us with bodies (now) used our agency to follow Him. Now we are being tested to see what we are really made of.

When we have true Faith in Him, we will choose to follow His laws.

Making good decisions that follow God's laws, give us blessings, happiness and a fullness of joy.

Making incorrect choices against God's laws brings suffering, sorrow, regret and heartache.

Simply beautiful isn't it?

Trust me, he knew what he was doing (and still is/does)

I will say....the egg came first.

The bird that laid the egg didn't have to be a chicken. The first chick that hatched could have been a sport - a mutation from some other species. Birds have no problem raising babies of other species or breed - how many of you have broodies who have hatched out ducklings, guinea fowl, turkeys, and even goslings? The Cuckoo bird lays its egg in the nests of other species, and those mothers raise the usurper baby at the expense of their own progeny.

Of course, I do not understand the mechanism by which so great a mutation occurs, to change one species into another. A change of feather color or shape, yes, a shift of body carriage or beak shape, yes. But given that most mutations are deleterious to the creature, and lead to it being eaten or otherwise vanishing from the gene pool in a hurry....

I'm just saying. What laid the egg didn't have to be a chicken. Only what hatched out of it had to be a chicken.

Regardless of whether you believe God put us here or evolution did, the egg came first. UNLESS you consider the original wild Jungle Fowl, chickens, then it could be either, depending on what you believe.
But our domestic chickens, which are called chickens, came from the eggs bred selectively from Jungle Fowl, so therefore, the egg came first.
