Which chicken breed makes a good indoor bedroom pet?

We have a lemon cuckoo niederrheiner who suffered a leg injury and has a damaged air sac thanks to the larger breed girls who would walk on her, and to the roo who repeatedly jumped her. She's unsteady on her feet and has breathing issues, so we brought her in. Oh, my, is she the sweetest hen! She wants to be held, and will grab my pants leg and shake it to get me to pick her up. She settles in my lap and goes to sleep. Since I can't hold her all day, I have mirrors on the floor so she has other chickens around her. But honestly, she was always aloof from the rest of the flock before we brought her in, so separating her hasn't appeared to impact her.

All breeds of chickens poop, and any breed could want to stay on your lap. No chicken should really be kept as a lone pet, or indoors, because they need to have a flock, and keeping them indoors alone is really not the best life for a chicken. If a pet bird is what you're looking for, there are many better options- budgies are one, and I know a few people who have them that could tell you about them and their required care!
A budgie will sit on your shoulder while you talk to it, and hide in your hair. It can climb onto your finger and sit in your hand while you gently stroke its head and neck between finger and thumb till it goes to sleep. It will stay on your hand while you carry it to its friends before flying to them.
