Which chicken breed makes a good indoor bedroom pet?

I think what you're looking for is a pigeon. Amazing birds, and you can make or buy pigeon pants which only need to be changed every 4h or so (depends on circumstances I guess, mine sometimes prefer to go explore for many hours and then eat a large meal so sometimes their pants are good to stay on half the day).
And of course, as far as birds go, you'll need 2. No matter how you go about it, 2 is always the best option, though you could start out with just one.

Everybody’s right…. it’s NOT a good choice to intentionally choose a chicken to keep as a lone pet inside on a permanent basis…. ESPECIALLY A LARGE BREED. There are exceptions though (trauma, illness, etc), but those situations should be VERY temporary. Right now, I’M guilty of the temporary house chicken scenario. I have my teeny A-class Serama, Seasons (recent “picture of the week”), in my utility room…. ONLY because she’s soooo teeny and just hatched one chick. It was a chick safety decision. She’s in a nest within a big cardboard box (with an air filtration system running 24/7). Even that wee chicky can produce some dust! And, the two will be with the flock asap. So, educating someone on the negative points of keeping a house chicken is responsible on the part of fellow chicken parents. We all love ours dearly, but they will love us more in return if we allow them to be their natural chicken selves.
