I had a batch of mixed eggs hatch and one little brown one started out looking like a chipmunk. Any ideas?

(These mixed eggs were pure X pure breeding) I just can't remember which pures they had!

That's how I describe the pattern too!!

All my chipmunks are easter eggers. She's definately an EE, here's hoping she lays blue or green for you!

(Looks like you've got a polish and a buff o in there too, what a nice variety you have there

I have noticed that each breed I have ordered straight pullets, all the chicks had chipmunk stripes in the breeds colors. That does look like my EE chicks.

Here's an updated photo.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!

brown leghorns, silver phoenix, gold phoenix, dark cornish, EE's, salmon falorelles, some game bantams, wellsummers, gold onagadri, silveo onagadori, some sex links.....

well, lots and lots of breeds. the list goes on. usually in order to identify a breed with chipmunk stripes we would need a picture or two
