Which colors of silkies are permitted in shows?

The 1998 standard I was looking at didn't look like it included splash. Is splash an accepted color in a show?

Yes, splash was accepted into the standard in 2000.

Recognised varieties include bearded and non-bearded in white, black, buff, partridge, grey, blue and splash; 14 varieties in all.
