Which DE is best?

Nothing in particular really. I heard it helps to kill mites and lice and that it's good to have it around coop and area where they dust at for a "just in case."

Set up a dust bath with the DE mixed in. It will not kill all, certainly not outright. It can help to control some external parasites and flies. The DE dust bath can be used as part of an integrated approach. Also look into making so roosting area can be cleaned. Seeing the mites crawling around in the dust bath as they indicates they have been dislodged.

I strive to control, not eradicate pest.

I've seen dust bath "boxes." Do I just keep in their home or just do it as a once in a while thing?
I think one that I saw had DE mixed with play sand I think?
