Which dog breeds in general tend to do well around backyard flocks?

Our family is in the process of adopting a poorly bred Belgian Mal from our local shelter. she does well with the birds.

I have a GSD and a Treeing Walker Coonhound. My GSD is completely ambivalent towards the birds (but is scared of the geese, who are aggressive towards her). She doesnt herd them and wasn’t trained around them but is trained (from our apartment living days). I will never let my coonhound near the birds lol she’d happily kill my whole flock.

We had a neighbors GSD/Husky mix break in and kill some ducks. But the owners said until then it had been afraid of chickens. (They we’re nice fat, slow jumbo pekins). The geese protected everyone else, hence their aggression towards dogs after that incident.
