Which dress to buy?

Mom is letting me buy one Lolita style dress for fall/winter. However, I'm not quite sure which of these two to buy. Could you all help, please?

I like them both. If I were getting one for myself I'd choose #2, just because people tell me I look really good in red. But if I were to go with instinct, I'd get #1.

I would say #2, because it screams great holiday photo shots!!
