I think my Buff Orph hen might be going broody again. In case she is, I'd like to put more eggs under her. How do I keep eggs from the last couple of days so I could set them under her--I seem to remmber they have to be at a certain temp. And how many days will they "hold"?

You want to keep them in a cool place. I just keep mine in an egg carton on the kitchen counter. Store them either on their sides or big end up. They will keep for a long time, but fertility declines significantly after about 10 days.

Good luck!!

I keep mine at room temp about 72 degrees. Keep them away from windows. I store mine in cartons with the pointed end down. Keep the carton tilted and then tilt it the other way the next day. Some say three days, I try to use mine within a week but I have had good success hatching eggs older than that. Monty
