Which end do they pip??

Which end are they supposed to hatch from? Is there really a right and wrong way?

Really interested to know.. thanks in advance. We are on day 19 woo-hoo!

They are supposed to pip the big end with the air sac. But sometimes they pip the wrong end.

They should pip on the big round end of the egg where the air sack is. If they pip somewhere else that isn't normal but there are plenty of chicks that have successfully hatched that way.
