Which gender is better for meat birds?

When they are in the freezer you cannot tell if it was a boy or a girl.....They all taste the same.

Actually the biggest taste difference is the type of feed you feed them. We had a friend give us one of his meat chickens for using our cages. It was ok, nothing compared to our chickens. His were fed commerical feed and not free ranged.

Our chickens are pastured and we have our own feed mixed for them. I feel this makes a big difference in the meat taste and quality.
