Which hatchery has the best Silkies? I have 2 and would like to purchase 1 buff one. Probably no one will sell me just one.

Thank you so much, Debbie. I looked up her website and liked it. I was confused, however. Does she ship either juvenile or started silky pullets during the summer? Think she would sell just one of these older ones? In which state are you located? She is in Texas. I am in MD. What quality were the silkies you received? You're probably not going to find, the best silkies in any hatchery. When I was looking for high quality buff silkies I found breeders who I bought hatching eggs from and had them shipped here.
This breeder won't ship you one chick either, but she's one of the places I went for buffs. www.indigoegg.us
She is in Lutz, Florida. She's shipped eggs to me three times, and adult chickens once. The eggs were a horrible hatch rate but nonetheless I have several of hers, and the shipping isn't their fault. The adults were two to a biohazard box. They were in awesome shape. Here's two their first day here.Thank you so much, Debbie. I looked up her website and liked it. I was confused, however. Thanks, Debbie for your great response and pictures. Do you think she would sell be just one silky if it were a juvenile or started pullet? And how old were the lemon rooster and black hen when you received them? Who supplied or gave you the hatching eggs that gave you all cuckoos? Lastly, would Melinda send photos in advance of chickens I am considering buying? Thanks. She is in Lutz, Florida. She's shipped eggs to me three times, and adult chickens once. A lemon cuckoo rooster and a blue hen. These four cost me nearly $500. She wouldn't sell me just the hens but gave a deal on the roosters.
I highly doubt she'd ship just one chick.
From the hatching eggs, I got cuckoos from her. That was my black hen.

I'm sure she's closer to you than me (Wisconsin), so shorter distances would be better if you got eggs from her.
She gives her phone number on her website and prefers to be texted. Just ask her if she's got what you're looking for and if not, when will she.
