So i have an Easter Egger and I thought hers were the eggs that were pink....wrong! I had to wait on her to lay today and hers is the one on the bottom right.

So who has the pink eggs? I have a black sex link (I think), a pr or rir and 3 orpintons. I'm guessing the black one? I'm guessing the pr/rir is the darker tan one.

From what I have been told, pink is a variety of brown so different breeds could be laying it. I've had some Jersey giants and jersey giant mixes lay pink as well as a few of my buckeyes, I expected darker from the buckeyes, (Had previously owned RIR's and their eggs were darker.) but was told the lighter color was not uncommon.
Since buckeyes were initially a variety of RIR, could your RIR be laying it. You might just have to watch to solve they mystery

I'm not sure, i know for sure it isn't my EE since I watched her lay that one! It was neat to see though.

All of these were laid by my 6 barred Rocks. One lays a cream egg, one lays a tan egg, and two lay pinkish. I also have 3 Australorps who were not laying at the time. One lays the same shade of cream, one lays large brown, one lays a tan color. I can't tell just by looking which breed laid which. There can be a wide range of shades within a single breed. All of your birds are brown egg layers, including your 'Easter Egger'. Unless you promptly collect each egg as it's laid, you may never know exactly which egg came from which hen.
