Which hen layed this? Lavender Orpington or Silver Laced Wyndadotte?

I’m not sure which of our new girls laid this: does it look like a Lavender Orpington egg or one from a Silver Wynadotte?

Each hen’s egg varies so differently so it is hard to be able to tell. If wanted you can separate the two girls if you want an exact answer.

Looks like my golden laced wyandottes as well. My orpingtons are never spotty, but like Rose said, every egg and chicken is different.

My Orpingtons sometimes lay spotted eggs like this. Not every time, but it does happen on occasion. I think it could be either one.

One of my lavender orpingtons lays an egg almost just like this! I was just wondering about it it this morning

Look at the vents. If one has a soft damp pink vent and the other is tight and dry, the pink laid it.
