Which hen would lay this color egg?

UPDATE: So I just saw the Barnvelder running around the yard and I went to collect her egg. Lo and behold, there wasn't one there. She just acted like she was laying. I'm back to believing this is her egg. Is it possible she lays and doesn't realize it then goes to the nesting box to pretend to lay? When she's in the box she gives me quite the cussing if I come near her when she's laying, which she did today.

For a few weeks, every few days I'll find this color of egg in random places around the coop. We have plenty of laying boxes so it threw me off to be finding them. Until today, I've thought it was my Barnvelder. I realized it wasn't her when I discovered the egg and the Barnvelder was in a nesting box laying her egg. I also have a Welsummer but she's older and has consistently laid in a certain nesting box for over a year. Could it possibly be my Copper Maran (hatched may 8, 2017) or Dark Brahma (hatched February 21, 2017)? Those are the only 2 hens who I believe are not laying.

It could be anyone... My Brahmas lay lighter colored eggs than that, but I have a Buff Orpington that lays shiny eggs like that - she looks like all the other BOs I've had, but refuses to lay in a nesting box too.

I know it's not my Buff. I've got her eggs pin pointed. I was expecting the Maran to lay darker than this and the brahma to be lighter, and neither with the speckles.

Can you keep her cooped until she lays? The other hen may not let her in the nest box and she hasn't been able to wait to lay--and is trying to be a good hen to lay in the nest box.

not really. i have 13 hens, a divided 3 hen nesting box, a small coop with 2 nesting boxes, and a larger coop with 5 nesting areas. 3 lay in the coop with 2 nesting boxes. the rest tend to prefer the 3 hen boxes. They create quite the cackle when one is in a box someone else prefers.

My Welsummer lays brown eggs with speckles.
