which heritage chicken breeds have more white meat?

I'm happy with my standard Cornish. Lots of white meat there.

I have heard good things about Buckeyes and Delawares, but only have a starter flock of the latter and none of the former.

Cubalaya have a nice white breast to them. However, they are slow to mature.

Marans are good meat birds, white skinned.

Turkens also.

Standard Cornish, as Buster suggested, are also good.

What about commercial broilers (freedom rangers, red bro, etc... )? They aren't cornish x.

Ive heard of turkens being good and they have less feathers so easier plucking them too.Theres also delawares, buckeyes, cornishes(Normal ones)marans, black austrolorps and im pretty sure lots more!

no... hehehe... You were mis-informed. They're no more aggressive than any other breed, and I've never had one be aggressive towards people.

Buckeyes, Dorkings, Dominques, and Delawares were all preferred meat birds once upon a time. The best ones are from breeders, hatchery stock tend to be scrawny, not really kept true to type. If you want to cross breed heritage birds for meat, you'll have good, healthy, vigorous birds, and if you put a standard purebred Cornish in there, you'll get bigger breasts than otherwise. Good luck!
