which heritage chicken breeds have more white meat?

I'm a big fan of heritage birds for meat. I second the Cornish and the Buckeye. White Rocks also dress out pretty quick and nice.

Jersey Giants have some good meat, but they are slow to mature. Arguably though, that makes their meat that much richer.

We just did 30 Cuckoo Marans, good sized birds.

Great big legs and thighs, average sized breasts.

We will taste test in a few days.
