Trying to figure out what high and low temperature mean on my thermometer and which i listen to (yes the temp is too low, i’ve then fixed it). Is the humidity really 77% or 40%?

(update: the reader is currently still changing, so it might just be adjusting to the humidity)

Does it have an outdoor option?
I use a simular gadget that has probes that tell me my exact humidity, & temperature. I use outdoor mode, because that's what the incubator simulates.

aaa it doesn’t have an outdoor mode. i might have to find a different one because i’m not sure if it’s working correctly. are most thermometers set on outdoor mode?

No, but some have a button to switch from indoor to out door mode. If you're talking about the plain mercury thermometers, they'll have to be calibrated before use.
Calibration is needed for digital thermometers, & hygrometers also.
