Hi i am wanting to buy an incubator that can hatch bsntams and hens together can anyone recommend any?
Thanks naomi

There are so many! From make your own to cheaper models to expensive models. I would suggest a little more info on your part, like what are you willing to invest? Also, check your local stores, eBay, Craigslist, etc. Find some you might consider and then ask about those specifically. I think you will get more opinions that way.

Hi i have just my brinsea rcom which was great but it only took 3" eggs so we ended up with 1 loneky chicknlsst time was 8 yrs ago! Basically we already hav 3 chicken around 1 yrs old my chikdren who arec7 and ,5 are desperate to hatch sm again, looked at soo many i know brinsea are the best but sooo expensive but thrn again resale value is fab as sold mine for £55 few wks ago. Prob is i need a brooder too or enclosure of sm kind so these starter kits are gd but the brinsea onr has seperate trays for bsntam and hen so couldnt hatch them together .dont need bigger than a 10 egg one as dont have room for that msny ! Also just seen a new rcom 10 pro but ucant buy till july that was £129 but need all the buts with it too.thanks naomi

Many of the incubators that come with auto turners will hold chick and duck eggs. I have bantams in mine now and they were a little loose in the turner so I cut a small strip of packing wrap (thin bubble stuff) taped it into a circle and put it around the egss so they don't slosh back and forth in the turner.
If you don't get a turner, you could fit more bantams laying on their sides and just turn them manually

Thanks hav had an automatic i think id want to prob go down that route kind regards naomi

I run bantams and pheasants in chicken cups all the time with no extra effort.

My advice would be to learn as much as you can about incubation and the how's and why's of it. A person needs to really understand it first and then learn by doing it. Been incubating eggs my whole life and learned through trial and error long before the Internet. You have a great tool and there is lots of advice and opinions on the net, some good some bad. Decide what you can spend and how dedicated you want to be and go from there. I would also weigh into the initial purchase, of where you picture yourself in a year or two. Incubating is addictive and a lot of fun, but work too. So, this may make you want to spend a little more up front and get a good start.
