Which is better?

when getting your first chicken which is better
Standard or Bantam, in your opinion

If you want eggs to eat, you're better off with standards.

I don't know that either is actually better; just depends on why you want the chicken. If you want eggs, then standards lay much larger eggs most of the time. If for a pet, the breed would be more important than the size bird.
