We have a 40 acre wooded place, have chickens, geese and ducks already but would like to add a couple turkeys to our list.

I am stuck between Slate Blue, BR, or Royal Palm. We don't want them for food, just fun. Which one can be the friendliest or easiest to deal with?

People certainly have different opinions about which turkeys are the friendliest/tamest. I have found royal palms to be a little jumpy sometimes. Bourbon reds have been fun for me. My favorites for temperament have been standard bronze and Narragansett.

I have blue slates and Narragansetts, they are both great and follow me around like dogs.
PS they are tasty to

I have no opinion due to inexperience, but I would like to say turkey poults are way more fun than chicks!

So, let's say I can't decide and I get one of each, for a total of 3-4 poults. Would it be weird to have 3-4 different breeds and decide what we like or not? Or should I stick with all the same kind?

Just get what you like the looks the best. They all can nice but also aggressive. My RP's and bronze are my easyist going but have no aggressive birds.
