Earthquakes! But really, anything can cause massive food shortages and that is something to really be afraid of. I think we would survive on what we have for awhile and by hunting, but I know so many people who would not be prepared. My friends thought I was joking when I told them they should have some food stored for an emergency. They think theres no way there will ever be food shortages or extreme inflation (ei, food becoming too expensive to afford). I am hard pressed to think of many generations before us who have taken food for granted in this way. If you dont make something with your own hands, there is really no guarantee it will always be around.

I think a catastrophic fire scares me the most. I have lived with earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes, but fire really scares me. We were on the earthquake ride at Universal in Florida, and the subway breaks down from the shaking. There is fire on one side, and a flood on the other. I think I'd brave the floodwaters to get out, but definitely not the fire.

For me it would have to be a tornado. Lots of times not much if any warning

Also with a hurricane people usually have plenty of time to evacuate if they would

Tornados...........Got no basement as my house is on stilts, so spring storms can make me kinda nervous
