I want to get an automatic waterer but is it worth it????

Four birds? Dunno. For me, no. I am in the coop a million X a day and simply dump the old water and fill up w/ new, easy as chicken pie.

I did look into an automated waterer and reeled back on my wallet at the price.

You can easily make an automatic waterer. You just have to be really creative about what you use and what you have laying around the house.
