I have too many white silkie roosters, but I can't decide which one I should sell. I want to keep the two best breeder quality birds. Any suggestions on which one I should get rid of?

Thanks for your opinions! But I would like to keep two of them, so which of the other ones do you also think I should keep?

Well its going to be had to tell with these pictures. ( they don't show the feet well )
Going by the pictures you posted I would have to say keep #2 . I know that you would like to keep 2 birds but I cant see the other birds being all that good.

Bird in picture 1 has a serious defect in that the middle toe is bare ( should have feathers down the middle toe )
Bird in picture 3 has a very long neck and I don't like his tail (very hatchery type tail) I cant see the feathering on the feet too well but it don't look too good.

Are these bird from a hatchery or a breeder? To me they look hatchery type silkies.

It depend on your goal which you haven't stated. If you simply want to make more Silkies any of the 3 will do that.
If you are interested in quality birds bred toward the Standard for showing or for the satisfaction of having quality birds then you need to look elsewhere for your start. None of the 3 are very good examples of the breed & I assume your females are similar.
That said, #2 is the best of a bad lot.

Yep, just what I was thinking. Number 3 has too much tail, number 1 has a lot wrong with it - Number 2 is okay, but really - They all look like hatchery Silkies.

Well, I bought #3 from someone who just raised silkies as pets, and #1 and 2 I bred myself. I realize that none of them are very good quality, but I don't really want to start all over. (and I'm kind of low on money right now) My goal is to breed silkies don't have any disqualifications or major defects. I was actually leaning towards #2, and #3 actually got best of variety out of 4 other non-bearded white silkies at a small show, so I may keep those two and sell #1. Thanks for all the advice!
