What should breed of chicken should i go with??? Silkie, RIR, Or plymouth rocks? I like silkies because of there looks and there docile personality. I like RIR because they egg laying rate is high! I like plymouth rocks because of how big they are and the colors of them/pattern! What should i go with?

Can you get all three of them? [IMG]
Otherwise... do you want them mainly as pets or as egg layers?

My orpingtons are my favorite personality wise. They are docile, like to be held and were my first to lay. my rocks aren't quite as nice. Pretty, but not as nice. I've heard RIR's are mean.

If eggs aren't your primary reason for keeping chickens, silkies are the best broodies among the ones you mentioned.
Personally, I love my cochins; they get really big, and they're feathers are super soft. They are also supposed to be good mothers.
