I have just gotten turkeys for the first time. I got six. We have identified 3 males. And at least 2 females. This one is bothering us of which one they fall under... So I'm asking the community. I have top and front of turkey. Please help cure my curiosity.

What is the age?

With dark colored turkeys, once they have their adult breast feathers, the breast feathers of a hen will have a light colored lower edge while the breast feathers of a tom will have dark or black colored lower edges. This only works with the adult breast feathers. The breast feathers of juvenile birds will have the light colored lower edge in both sexes.

14 weeks. So 3 and half monthish.

That's the way we are leaning too. But the big nods on her neck and her tail length is making us wonder.

That's kinda why I wanted to throw this out here. This is my first year with turkeys and I'm still learning a lot.

Yup. So different having sweet turkeys vs chickens. Roosters can be vicious if they feel threatened. It's so nice having calm males.
