Hello,

Just into day 3 of my second hatch incubating at home 12 chicken eggs.

The temperature showing on the lid of my incubator (it's an led display almost) says 37.5 degrees but the thermometer inside the incubator says 35 degrees. Which do I trust? Shall I up the temperature on the actual incubator or?

Thanks

Can you put either of them into a glass of water and ice to see what it reads? I went through several before I found one that would read 32f in a glass of ice water.

Thank you. It's digital though so putting it in water would probably break it.

Neither has a probe that you can put in water? Do you have any other thermometer you can calibrate that way to compare to them?

Hi I use a digital medical thermometer the kind you use on your kids to check my incubator thermometer and then adjust my incubators thermometer from There
