Which Warmblood stallion to breed to? Update:Riding the mare!

Bay is dominant but not always. If the OP breeds the mare to a gray, then it could go either way, gray or bay or sometimes happens in Arabians, a chestnut.

To get better ones, see if you can use AI with LFG. It is going to be expensive.

I'd want semen straight from Europe because it's closer. Embryo transfer will push costs way too high for a simple riding horse & we don't have good horse vets here. I really like this mare as a base for a warmblood stallion. She's just got a very solid foundation that a good stallion can only enhance. She has a very good temperament though she is hot & spooky under saddle. Has jumped up to 150cm but wasn't ridden for long. When I say that I don't care about temperament, I mean from the stallion. If he got to where he is, he's obviously trainable. The mare is very sweet in hand, in fact yesterday she backed up to the fence & asked me for a butt scratch so I obliged & she pulled such funny faces of pleasure.
I'm not sure where to begin in my stallion quest which is why I asked you guys :)
There's a certain "stamp" I like & I posted some shots of it. I like a pretty head, very good neck with a lot of length of rein, a good shape (crest is NOT neck) & high set, Flat movement-not from the knee, long fine legged & a strong hind quarter. The head, neck, movement & topline are the most important to me. I am planning on a bay foal but I would like at least a head markings & hopefully some socks too. I know you can't order your colors but I'd like to put to a stallion with a high chance.

These are stamps that I don't like although they are good stallions. The big common head with short or skinny neck just doesn't do it for me:

I like a little pretty head on a long & big neck

"this is not the US'

There are some very good breeders in Israel with VERY nice horses - warmbloods. Jumpers, Dressage horses, the whole 9 yards.

The problem of breeding mares that are not broodmare quality is everywhere.

Welsummerchicks, if you can give us links of those Warmblood stallions for OP to look at, maybe that would be start to get her a riding horse of her choice.

It depends on if the gray has two gray genes or one. If the gray has two copies of the gray gene, any foal will eventually turn gray.

Black is dominant over red (chestnut). Agouti is the modifier that turns black to bay. If the mare has only one agouti gene, she could get a black foal as well.

Horse color genetics are complicated and if the OP wants a specific color, she should have the mare and any prospective stallion tested for color genetics.

As I said, I know of only one guy who breeds warmbloods & they are overpriced. Way over priced. Everyone else just imports mares & geldings for competition. I think that this mare is broodmare quality & I will be breeding her so any positive suggestions about stallions to use would be appreciated. Any other input, will not be

Also color-wise, I don't care if it's black, bay, chestnut or gray (in that order

). I would like white markings though.

"Give her a list of stallions"

I don't do that when I think the mare shouldn't be bred. Someone else can do that for her. Anyway I couldn't without seeing the mare move, knowing temperament, etc. It's impossible to choose a stallion from a picture of a mare.

Not sure why you are saying way overpriced. Sometimes the quality is so much better than the Israeli bred ones if they did import those stallions. Do they have an upstanding junior stallion to try out like the stallion's son?
