These are not BC marans, so not quite as difficult to candle.

I caved, shut off the lights so my eyes could adjust, and did a quick top candling in the carton (didn't pick up the eggs).

Lots of aircell shadows, and one definite frog-fish jumping around. Hopefully next time I will see squirrel-frog-fish.

I hear everyone saying they see veins etc !

I have wellsummers,c marans,and black alstralopes and day 7 I cant really see anything.

Maybe some veins in the B A

I want to know if they are even fertile ?

How do you tell ?
