White banded, calcium coated, speckled and soft shell eggs in less than a week

Ascites(water belly) is a symptom of internal organ malfunction/failure....
....liver, heart, reproductive system, etc, due to disease.
Usually not a good sign.
Sexlinks are often not long lived birds and are susceptible to reproductive system failure.

Has she ever molted?
How do you deal with the heat?
A dose of electrolytes can help that.

That's what I fear, Ascites =(
She is only year and a half. She is molting since August, started with the wings, neck next and I think we are in the final stage with the tail. She is so soft now =3
I'm giving her eggs for protein and aviflax gold which contains omega 3, 6 and 9 from flax seeds.

For the heat, I have installed a mist system, if it gets critical, I turn on all the garden hose, that usually help.

I will buy those electrolytes asap. Thanks for the advice!

Hello!
I came to update the topic.

Alicia is doing well. I don't know how but her belly is not swollen anymore. A few weeks ago it was getting bigger and bigger and now nothing. She is completely normal. I gave her electrolytes, vitamins and yogurt, I don't know if some of those things worked or what happened. She still only lays imaginary eggs (sits in her nest everyday for a few minutes) and molting is still going.

I have no idea what happened! But whatever it is I will enjoy it! :hmm
