White Beads on Comb?

Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I have been on here.
I have an Amerucauna her name is "Easter" and she has white beads on her rose comb.
Has anyone know what this is or seen this? I have been raising chickens for
one year now. Please let me know your thoughts her is a picture of her.

It looks like a mild case of Favus - Do a forum search on 'favus'. There are several good threads on this condition. Some have reported good luck in controlling/curing such infections with Monistat.

I just called CVS Pharmacy they have Nystatin cream but you need a script for it.
Guess I will call my avian vet and ask.

I searched a couple of threads, and it appears that miconazole ointment is also a good topical to use for treatment.

Monistat is a brand name of the generic miconazole. Micatin is another, and many just say miconazole. They come in sprays or cream.
