white bumps on earlobes

Has anyone ever seen white lumps develop on a chicken's earlobe? If so, what is known about this? Is it a symptom of something? Our lavender orpington has this. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Is it on both earlobes? It may be normal coloring on some breeds. Pictures may help.

yes. I just noticed them the other day. Ill keep an eye on them. No scaling or anything like that.
