White chickens-Tide with bleach, how much?

OK, searching on the forum it sounds like Tide with bleach is used by many to really clean white chickens. How much tide do you use per gallon of water? We have banties so we just use the kitchen sink bowls.

I am planning on using white vinegar in rinse water and then a quick dip in sink with water and a little glycerin.
Wanting to make the white birds really bright, they are not stained right now.
