Off topic but would you happen to know what breed/cross the duck is ? I really like his color.

actually he is a mutt from a hatchery. I called and they told me that he is a mixture of blue swedish and welsch harlewuin. He may even have some of the crested swedish bloodlines but due to his harliquin bloodline, he came non-crested......I love him he is very very friendly....unlike the goose who is a bit aggressive at times.....lol...i think she is a girl though becuase she allowed the male duck to mount her in an attempt to mate. they grew up together and are still the best of friends...i have them seperated though due to the extreme cold we have here in kentucky.......Thank you for the compliment on the duck.... I plan on ordering another duck package in an attempt to get a female to breed him to.....

I have 5 white chinese and 1 laid an egg out in the freerange , had to pick her up and the egg and tote her back to the pen , gave her some straw put the egg on the straw and she covered it up and didn't make a nest . Two nites later she just sqatted in the run and laid another and walked on . Did I mess her up by moving her and the first egg ? where she was somthing would have took her the first nite .
