White Cochin roo with blue cochin hen?

OR a buff Orpington hen?

I was wondering what would the offspring look like for these? Might be a summer project.

if your white rooster has 2 copies of dominant white than all the chicks will be white and carrying a blue or black gene. if it is carrying one copy of dominant white than half will be white and half will be something else.

if he has recessive white, than half your chicks will be blue and half will be black.

buff is extremely confusing to me. there are too many variations to that coloration for me to understand!

hopefully someone smarter will chime in.

so the only way to really tell for sure is to breed them

... and send all the chicks to me!
