White Copper Maran Chicks

Hello. I have Copper Marans and hatched several incubators of Maran eggs this spring and summer. I hatched 2 beautiful White Maran chicks. In researching how this happened I found that both parents carry the white recessive gene. Luckily I have a hen and rooster so am going to continue to breed them to see if I will continue to get more white Marans. I have noticed in the APA they show the white Moran as accepted breed. Was wondering if this is the same as my white Maran. Anybody know?????
