My girls are laying like crazy! I have a pair of pekins and a pair of white crested. They do interbreed so you have an equal chance on crested and non crested. They are fertile, I have about a dozen growing in my bator now. Those are my first batch so i'm not sure what ducklings will hatch out yet (crested or not)
