White crested black polish 11 week old pullet is pecked on her head!

Thanks for the responses. Is there anyone else out there who has ideas for stuff we can put on her head that the others find distasteful but will not hurt her or the others? We have great chicks, none are really aggressive, but they seem to peck her as a matter of course.

One of my friends had a polish that the others kept pecking the feathers off the top of her head. They cut a ping pong ball in half and glued it on the chickens head like a helmet. They only attached it to a few feathers so when they all grew out, the just clipped the helmet off.

Mine just kept picking at it, then I let them free range and it stopped. Now they all have beautiful "fros" and nobody pecks them.
