White crested black polish gender

I got this one when it was already feathered out so unsure of age. I made an educated guess at about 8-10 wks old. Very friendly little thing. What sex is this? I'm confused because the topknot is rounded and the feathers in it have rounded edges. But the wattles are red. I read to look for a couple toothpicks coming out of the front of the pom pom which should be the comb, but there isn't anything like that.

I am pretty sure it's a pullet. the front feathers are a bit wild, but the rounded bob is pullet like.

What do you think about how large the wattles are? This is a breeder bird by the way, not hatchery, if that makes a difference.
