Photo taken earlier in the week. For September, it is nice to still have this much going on in the garden. The daylily in the background is "Happy Returns" and the foliage in the foreground is Stachys Helene von Stein - one form of Lamb's Ears.
Thank You for the positive comments! I only "show" my birds on the internet. I used to do local county fair shows for their educational value in teaching folks about chciken breeds, but I no longer do that.
Yes, the "Happy Returns" daylily is a worthwhile rebloomer and somewhat small in stature - it is nice in mass plantings and that is easy to do if you divide them frequently.
