White Crested Blue Polish....Roo?

I've never had a Polish before but is this a boy? It would be 7 weeks old now. This thing is as flighty as heck! And boy does it scream when you pick it up.

Thanks! I thought so but I've never had one. He cracks me up because you can't even see his eyes when you look at him straight on. I don't know how he sees my hand sneak up on him with all those feathers covering his eyeballs.

He'll sit right next to me as long as I don't try and touch him.

I know next to nothing about chickens, much less polish, but I wanted to say that the last picture cracked me up. He looks like a grumpy old man.

I am SOOO happy to hear that. He's so adorable in a freaky sort of way and I'm actually glad he's a roo because he'll just look that much more crazy. Haha

I know! His eyes are so light colored that I always joke with my DH that "Polo" looks a bit unstable. Like maybe he's been on a really bad bender.

My Dh named him Amadeus but the kids call him Polo.
