White crested duck incubation day 27 help please...

Yes he is due on Friday.
I have 10 more eggs in the bator, all but 4 with different hatch dates. Will raising the humidity hurt the other eggs?
Well id love to speak from experience, but i have none. I need u for that, lmao! But i love my two crested ducks. The "poof" drives me wild.
Oh and my egg is filling up a bit more of the egg than the last pic

Ahhh OK, if you have more eggs, we can NOT raise the humidity. Dang, how are the other 10 doing? Always try to collect all your eggs in a two week time frame, set them in an egg carton in a cool room, basement is a preference. turn them left and right at least once a day more if possible, once the two weeks is up put all the eggs in at one time. Otherwise, you will continue to have issues..

Now what to do. I pretty sure you only have the one bator correct?

Ive been reading horror stories about ordering eggs. That if they go through x rays it will kill them and shipped eggs saddling and obviously mishandling would do damage. Is there something i dont know? I want to order peacock eggs but id be so mad if they were ruined after paying so much for them. Do people just take a chance or??

Well first of all the Xray machine they use will not ruin the eggs, That is a total myth, Second ordering shipped eggs is always a risk. If packaged correctly, they should arrive unsmashed.

shipped eggs usually will have loosed air cells or deatached air cells, I have NEVER had much luck with deatached and neither have any of my girls. Loose, NOT a problem, I am able to get them to develop.

The rule of thumb for shipped eggs is if you can get HAlf of them to hatch, your doing great, if you get one or two, your doing OK. It's very difficult to get 100% hatching with shipped eggs because of the traveling that is involved.

id be happy if even one hatches haha!

Instead of rushing out and buying one, you could actually just whip something together. My lock down bator is a syrofoam cooler, I have a light in there that's attached to a water heater temp, so it will turn on and off the light once it reaches a certain temp, and I put cups of water for humidity. i also stuck a computer fan in there for oxygen to flow threw. LOL It's pretty easy and really basic. Since it is my lockdown bator, I don't need the turner in there.
