White Crested Kalij?

I just picked up a couple pair of white crested. I was told they are a year old. (not sure what time of year hatched) How long before they start laying? I have heard different story's on if it takes two years, one year even heard three years. Before they start laying. Anyone have white crested that might give me some insight?

I used to raise them they should lay at one year old but it too late in the year I don't think you get any eggs this year but they will lay next spring.
