Im looking at getting ornate display cages for the weddings.
My town is very small and the Capital Canberra is 3 minutes away.
It takes half an hour from one side of Canberra to the other Side so its small.
I was thinking that the flight distance would not be that far for them?

are they fantail doves or fantail pigeons . I have never heard of fantail doves . I used to have 30 normal ringneck doves and never let them loose as i was told unlike pigeons they dont have homeing instincts . i only let my pigeons fly loose . But if they are indeed fantail doves i will need to get me some lol

Apon speaking to a racing club gent, I was told that they are indeed racing pigeons.
The fantail doesnt stay up all the time like a dove and if they were fantails, they wouldnt get far as their tails prevent long flights. So I am 75% positive that they are a normal white pigeon!!!!???

Hi Deb, long time no hear, hope youve been well.
well this is going to be a new venture for me and hopefully If i market it right it will keep me in chicken food!!!
Got sooo much to do.
I used to be a florist and I love selling and i sort of like bookkeeping and I definately love weddings but most definately I looove these birds!
So put it all in a package and BINGO how can I lose.
Worth a try and if it doesnt get off the ground at least the birdies will, they are very smart, just look at the history of pigeon keeping.
I love the way I can walk in there with them and while they gently flutter around me I can feel the rush of air around my face before they land on my hand!!
Im well and truly hooked on them.
